Tented Wedding in Ridgefield, Connecticut
There has never been an event that proved more moving then planning my own wedding. It was a spectacular summer day for our Connecticut yellow boho wedding. When we were looking for a theme, we knew we wanted something inspired by the Coldplay song, Yellow. We wanted a starry feeling with boho vibes and that’s what Social Alchemy created with in the logo; it was pure magic. We’re obsessed with the dreamy design direction—using all my brand colors – yellows, electric blue, navy, blush and gray - and embracing the natural setting of the sprawling farm. The lush greens that came from the farm helped to create the outside coming in feeling with the sail cloth tent. The event managed to feel both romantic and playful at once.
The flower crown bar for guests was an amazing addition as entertainment piece and perfect prop for the baby blue, VW Picture Bus. We wanted the wedding to be a true family party – there were kids running around, bright color framed pictures of lost loved ones to wearing my mother’s wedding dress. Our only question? Can we have another wedding soon?
