Intimate Summer Wedding in Westport

Backyard Wedding in Westport, Connecticut

If there ever was an event that proved that love conquers all, Katya & Clyde’s Westport backyard wedding was it. These two approached our company to plan an intimate, 16-person wedding after the state's public health restrictions meant the 200-person wedding they had planned for northern Connecticut could no longer take place.

They wanted something romantic and sophisticated while still feeling relaxed and that is exactly what we worked to bring to this chinoiserie-filled summer affair.  We were obsessed with the candle sticks from London based company, Mrs. Alice – they paired perfectly with the pink hues of the flowers and those indigo water goblets.  The groom and the best man built our bride her dreamy bistro light setting that transformed us all from Fairfield County to Europe, which set the tone for the most gorgeous evening vibe.

We cannot get enough of small gatherings. It’s such a privilege to work these weddings. All the guests and couple are truly present and able to themselves. They are creating meaningful connections and storybook moments.   And despite the condensed planning timeline, we had such a fun time working with the couple they have truly become lifelong friends!
