CT Boho Wedding at The Hickories Farm

Tented Wedding in Ridgefield, Connecticut

How about Navajo mountain meets Connecticut Farm as your wedding theme? Yes, that’s a thing – well it was for Tara & Ian’s wedding. From amazing textures and prints from Gather & Lounge and BBJ Linens to the touches of handmade leather napkins rings and macrame pieces by the bride, we had so much fun working on this dreamy Fairfield County tented wedding. Because this couple started dating in California, we wanted to be sure we brought the two destinations together to create one cohesive design. We wanted to mix mountain, boho, fall, and the couple’s hometown farm. The bride’s mom is an active beekeeper, we knew we wanted to be sure we provided favors with her delicious honey and add elements of the hexagons throughout the wedding with wooden shaped table numbers and their personalized cake. This wedding consisted of fall desert hues along with dark greens and navy—and the most energetic man of honor which made this wedding come together to create a storybook affair. More than anything this couple experience was lifelong partnership + lasting friendship. I am beyond honored to have worked with this kind and creative couple.
