Romantic Outdoor Wedding inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies

Spring Wedding at the Inn at Longshore, Westport, CT

Our couple, Stephanie & Keith told us they wanted a romantic wedding with purple and pink tones; we knew this was a match since we dream in color. When presenting the 1st draft of the design board, Stephanie quickly said, “How did you know I saw Monet’s Water Lilies in person?”  We didn’t – the universe was on our side.  That piece of art inspired the whole feeling for this Spring wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut. People tend to jump to coastal or nautical when hosting a waterfront wedding in Connecticut, but why not do something different that’s still timeless.

We became obsessed with the details of this wedding from the exquisite invites that Bespoke in Westport created that set the tone for the wedding to macarons that were tied in velvet ribbon.  We subtlety transformed the guests from Westport to the South of France.  This wedding was something out of a dream with the stunning peony arrangements paired with soft linens.

Now, you may ask…but was it fun?  The answer is yes! So much so that the bride even jumped on the microphone and the crowd went wild. Having a Hank Lane band is always the right choice if you’re looking for a packed dance floor dance party vibes. No two couples are the same which means no two weddings the same. We find our joy in designing celebrations that are unique to you and we love nothing more than creating an experience-focused, personalized celebration of your love story.
