2021 was the year to start coming out of hibernation and start celebrating again. We were stuck inside and having drive-by birthday parties. All of us wanted to get outside and see our friends. We took this literally by creating an outdoor camp theme party for client’s son, Mason.
Our client saw a picture of the queen of kids birthday parties in California, Deets & Things on Instagram and fell in love. We hosted the event at the New Canaan Nature Center and we started teaming up with our favorite vendors to create magic.
When creating a kids birthday party, we want everything super cute, but need to keep young attention spans engaged. Start with some healthy packaged snacks and drinks. We then think about how to create and produce an activity that matches the party theme, but it also fun! We decided to embrace the space and have the nature center provide an animal show. Our team setup a craft station where the kids got to design their own adventure vest with patches of their choosing. It was a huge hit.
