Meet Melinda
Melinda is the Ying to my Yang - or the Luna to my Charlie!
Let’s take it back to 2016 when I first met Melinda. We were both working at Marcia Selden Catering. She took on the new role of sales assistant to the owner. She was funny, creative, eager, and brought in tons of big picture ideas. My initial reaction was JEALOUSLY. She can’t be creative, I’m creative! Luckily, I’ve grown up in the several last years, and we developed a wonderful friendship! We are both similar and different in all the best ways. This eventually lead to a newfound professional relationship which began in 2020 when Melinda took on a new role as Luna and Charlie’s social media manager. I quickly realized she truly understood our mission and was able to embody the voice of the company.
In 2021, the event boom came back in full swing and I needed to have an assistant for more hours. I threw out the idea to Melinda and she jumped at the opportunity. During those months, I realized that not only did she get the voice of our brand, she perfectly complemented my weaknesses in order to make one amazing planning team. Then in December, we both took a leap of faith as she became our principal planner and best teammate. I’m so excited for her to bring her perspective, creativity, and thoughtfulness to the company.
Melinda is a true dreamer and will pour her whole heart into bringing your vision to life. Her love for human connection and creating events that are intentional and a true reflection of you is what fills her up! She genuinely believes that bringing people together to celebrate and create memories is what life is all about.
